Happy New Year From Jacaranda
As we step into the new year, we’re excited to share some wonderful news – construction activity is getting underway at Jacaranda, bringing us closer to delivering this thoughtfully planned community.
Over January and February, you may notice increased activity on and around the site as works progress. These early stages are all part of preparing the land for future homes, green spaces and local connections, with specialist teams on site to ensure everything is carried out with care and consideration.
Here’s a look at what’s happening over the next few months:
January
- Works begin on site, including initial site setup and preparation.
- We’re working on dewatering dams that will be replaced by our new lake and wetland and will soon be starting earthworks in accordance with our development and environmental approvals. The new lake will be delivered in subsequent stages and will use native aquatic plants that will be strategically planted to improve water quality and provide habitat for aquatic life. A melaleuca walk will connect the wetland and the lake. The wetland is intended to create a natural filtration system and habitat for birds, fish and animals.
- Environmental specialists, including arborists and ecologists, will be on site as required to oversee activities. As the dam water level lowers, our ecologists will begin the fauna handling & relocation process as per the approved dam dewatering plan.
February
- Large-scale ground shaping continues, helping form the foundations for future streets and homes
- Improvements commence at the Spinks Road intersection to support better access and connectivity.
