DEVELOPMENT UPDATE MARCH 2026
Progress at Jacaranda
Construction activity at Jacaranda has continued to progress steadily over recent months, with important early works helping shape the foundations of the future community.
Site stripping works have now been completed across much of the project area, with bulk earthworks and ground shaping underway to support the future layout of streets, homes and green spaces. As these works progress, the future lake and wetland system is also beginning to take shape, including the formation of an engineered dam embankment designed to improve water quality and support diverse habitats.
Environmental management remains a key priority throughout construction. More than 60 manufactured hollows have already been installed in retained trees to support birdlife, with natural hollows and fauna habitats relocated within the project’s conservation area.
Looking ahead, Stage 1 works will soon transition to the construction of roads, stormwater infrastructure and essential services, with Stage 1 currently targeted for completion in Q4.
